Guard Rail

Garett pulled up at the house. He parked his bike and pulled out his shot gun. "Diesel sniff the place out....You never know what the fuck is in there..." Garett spun around and aimed his gun towards Kris to make sure no zombies would attack her while she closed the gate.

Kip's Lambo skidded to a stop.

"Join the other dog Ankh we don't want it to get ambushed" said Kip patting Ankh on the head.

Ed hopped out of his car, slinging his items onto his back. He shot a couple of shamblers with the Bear and proceeded to cover Kris's back.

After the final vehicle made it's way in, Kris started to tap a few codes in the panel, then pulled a lever where the gates started to close. Once they shut and locked up, she pressed another button then closed the panel door. A few zombies placed their hands on the fence and gate only to get electricuted. After a few more try to pass, the others turned around and walked off. Kris smirked then walked back toward everyone and to her jeep to grab her things.

"We should be safe now. That whole fence has it's own energy to get some electricity, and it runs who knows how far deep if they try to dig their way."

"This place seems to good to be true, but i'm not camplaining, I need a break" said Kip

"So we only have to worry if they can resist the shock long enough to climb or if they decide to grow wing and fly in." said Ed with a half sense of sarcasm and worry.

"Let's see.... they're unintelligent, but we still shouldn't underestimate them. pretty much during the chances no one is outside, there's a second security panel inside that's sensed for movement within this ground outside. So I think we're ok for a while. This place is pretty much prepared for anything, even as a permanent residence if it comes to that. I haven't even finished exploring it. This place is huge!"

"Well i have supplies in my car anyone want to help" said Kip popping his trunk.

"So how long do you think that power will last? How long do you think it'll be before one of those stronger infected come in and break down that fence like it's paper...? Not long at all....One of us will have to stay up while the others sleep to keep watch on that stupid panel you were talkin about....We can't risk dying in our sleep...Or some stupid shit like that....I volunteer, I'm use to not sleeping...All I need is a good couple energy drinks and a couple smokes and I'll be good."

Garett put his shotgun away and laid back on his back.

"Besides, It's nicer with out all you assholes talking."

"Alright so these supplies will stay here, dicks" said Kip as he hopped on his car and started to talk to Michael

"So you never introduced yourself man"

Kris sighed again and pointed to a windmill and a large metal poll.

"Those things power this whole building AND the electricity in that fence. The metal poll if for when lightning strikes and it can capture the electricity and store it up. The wind mill of course makes energy from the wind so we're fine with that too. Around back are some plans and a lot of supplies to make a large, thicker wall for if the fence doesn't hold up. Of course that fence was ment to be temparory. But I agree with you that we still need peopl to take some shifts just in case."

Kris turned to grab some of her stuff.

"This place is nice, I'll give ya that much. But it aint invincible....It can hold off the normal ones...But if we run into what me and my friends did....We will be outnumbered so quickly your god damn heads will spin...." Garett stood up. "So how long do you think you can stay here with out being killed? A couple days? A week , maybe two tops....Then what...You got a clue? I've got my plan, but the question is do you have yours?"

"I'll stay up to, have'nt been able to sleep much since all this shit started happening. I have like 30 Monsters with me so I can share with Garret." he said this as he tossed Garret an M-80. "But if they do break in I have the Dragon and that will take out most of the stronger ones if you give it time."

Kip looked over his shoulder and lit a cigarette.

"We survive in the now, we will make a plan as it comes" said Kip he was a little more calm now, he then turned back to Michael.

Kris took in a breath and tried to stay as calm as she can without losing it.

"Ok ok I'll admit this isn't perfect, but it's close enough. Like I said before I never got araound to looking around this whole place yet or know everything about it. It's good for now I'll admit again, but where else is there that hasn't been zombie or virus infected? Or is a very good strong hold? Do you know? Because I would just love a map of all the locations that you come up with so if we do have to move to a different strong home. Just let me know."

"I'm not knocking it, I couldn't have found a place like this. All I was doing was throwing out a solution to the proposed problem."

Kurt, done exploring walked into hwere the main group was and sat down without a word.
"........"

Kris shrugged and looked around the place a bit. It was already dark and she was tired since she was fighting almost all day.

"Ok let's just get inside and settle down or something. Feel free to explore, but I already call the room closest to the labratory inside."

Kris started to walk in to drop her things off in her room, and, hopefully, get something to eat or get a shower.

"I know a couple safe houses....Don't know if they are safe anymore...I ran into them on the way here...I had to sleep somewhere..." Garett paused for a moment..."Look Kris, i aint tryin to bash on ya...Im just tryin to keep ya alive..."

Garett followed in, Diesel trailing close behind.

(Didn't I pretty much say that already.)

Ed waited for everyone to get inside the safe house, ready to take down whatever might make its way in. When the other survivors made it inside he closed and locked the door.

After a small chat with Mchael Kip walked inside and found a large bedroom and plopped on the bed.

"This will have to do" He took a drag of his cigarette and put on his headphones.

(Sorry Jerid i said you had a conversation with me i didnt mean to control your character but he didnt do anything gay)

Kurt still sits where he was and rolls his eyes at Garrett, trying to Hit on Kris. He whispers under his breath.
"What A dilweed......"

Garett looked around the house...."Great now it's like were on a fucking reality tv show, just with a bunch of zombies surrounding us...Perfect..." Garett rolled his eyes and sighed. He turned to Kris. "Now to ask you, when do you plan on leaving this place? When it's overran by zombies? Or sometime sooner? You're in charge while we are here seeing how you led us here...You remember that, and anyone who says otherwise...I'll snap their god damn neck like a twig...Ya got me? So you gotta make the decisions, meaning these peoples lives are in your hands...If ya aint up to it, I understand...And I'll take over." Garett began to scratch the back of his head, he realized he was being a little to soft already. He quickly replied again. "But that don't mean your head of the pack forever...Just til we get outta here, ya got me?"

Micheal had been silent for a bit, he usually was in the background for most decisions but he knew a bit more than they did from his time with the Council "we can't stay here" he interrupted "well i mean a smaller group can but our number will cause problem's" he walked over to Garett "if your leaving, you know im coming with right?" he didn't wait for Garett to argue "i used to be part of an online community that transferred information to the remaining remnants of the U.S government" he sighed "its a long journey but they are open to survivor's, i don't know what me and Garett are gonna do but we don't take kindly to authority ya feel me?" he paused to gauge their reaction "there's also another.....well its just a rumor.....an organization called the Crimson Brotherhood that have taken over Illinois, they focus on studying and creating advanced technology, Ive heard that's another place to go" he sighed once more "but we should rest for tonight, ill stay on duty with Garett, we've got some catching up to do"
