Guard Rail

Kip moved quickly across the floor and held his magnum to Garret's head the other to Kurts head.

"I was trying to be nice, but I can't let your anger endanger this group, or your stupid comments" said Kip.


(Garret and Kurt respectivly)

(Really dont want to hold this gun here)

"Whats the matter Kip? To scared to pull the trigger? Cmon do it, I aint afraid to die!" Garett began to laugh. "You got guts, but not enough to follow through...I can see it in your eyes...You wouldn't take my life...You need me...It's all talk...." Garett looked back at Kris. "You think I need this gun to kill him?" Garett laughed and put the shot gun away. "Then cmon boy bring it! Put your dukes up! You man enough to talk shit, then your man enough to get your ass kicked!" Garett lifted his fists to his face.

Kris wasn't in the mood for any fighting now. She made her tone harder as she spoke.

"Kip I think you better put your gun away too. It's not gonna help if we're all pointing guns at eachother, especially if we're the only few survivors in this country, or even the world if the virus has spread that far. Now everyone put their weapons away now."

She turned her attention to Garett.

"That's enough of your talk. You're only making yourself an even more of a jerk. If you want respect as a leader of this group, then show it to the others. I have had enough of this tension and I'm sure I'm not the only one."

Kurt walked up to Garrett , and looked him in the eyes. He pulled out his pistol, put in one bullet, and spun the chamber and handed it to Garret.
"How much you wanna bet I will say it again...... Punk?! I FEEL LUCKY TODAY."The look in Kurt's eyes was one of insanity, rage, and wildness.

Kip pushed Kurt back.

"I shot my own family, you think I have a problem shooting some biker I just met, Kris calm down Kurt. Garret you need to get it through your thick skull, altough you are a very valuable asset to this team, no one here is arguing that, you aren't the only one, I will shoot you without a bat of an eye, if you endanger one life so help me you will be chewing on lead" said Kip staring at Garret's enraged eyes.

"I've had enough." Ed said with his shotgun on his shoulder.


(Note: Not aimed at anybody but ready in case this confrontation turns bloody.)

"Do any you guys even here yourselves at all?! You all bicker about eachother and where has it gotten you so far?! In case you might have forgotten, we're at the BEGINNING of a zombie apocolips here, and they're out there probably waiting for us at any moment when we're weak to attack. And now would be a good chance since we can't get along and can't act like a team."

Kris felt like she was bout to explode by holding back her anger. She kept her expression and tone serious. She also grabbed the gun and took out the bullet.

"Listen to the girl, she's apparently the only one who can keep a cool head."

Kurt looks at Kris.
"Put the bullet back in, Kris. Then point it at me. Or just give me it back, please?"

"You're lucky they're here to save you....You'd be dead If it were just me and you..." Garett turned his attention to Kip, "Your bold, I like that...But don't push me...I got an anger problem...and when I get angry...I kill things...Don't make yourself one of those things." Garett walked past Kip with out another word, He now stood in front of Kris. "I get ya...But I can't handle bein disrespected by a bunch of punks...Tell ya what, I'll make a deal with ya...for a kiss, I'll play nice with everyone." Garett said with a big smile on his face.

"Fair enough, but I don't swing that way no kisses for me" said Kip walking back to the couch

"You're gonna start another fight mate." said Ed as he stepped in front of Kris.

"Pshh, No I'm not, It aint nothin but a kiss" He said shoving Ed out of the way. "So hows bout it?"

Kris felt her jaw drop a little, then she closed it quickly.

"You're not gonna get a lot of respect from me by making offers like that. Neither of you to add to that. You already showed how much of a jerk you all can be, and I hate that."

Why did he have to bring that up? I'm the only girl with a bunch of guys probably looking for kisses from me. Shoot. she thought to herself, slightly annoyed now.

"What harm could it do Kris, just give him a kiss" said Kip with a newly lit cigarette in his mouth he then smiled.

"Another fight? No, you still have one, right here."
Kurt walked up behind Garrett, machete at the ready.

\"Seriously mate, back down. You\'re seven years older than her, that\'s kind of weird.\" Ed said as he shoved him back.


(Remember, I\'m actually bigger than you. And Kris I\'m not looking to kiss you or anything like that, I find that 14 years is about 10 years over the limit.)

"Look, It's the time...Do ya think we are all gonna be friendly immediately...The fuckin zombie apocalypse just happened and probably killed most of our friends and family....So none of us are exactly friendly at the moment...If I say sorry, Will I get that kiss?" Garett continued with his big smile. Garett shoved him back. "I don't think age is a property anymore...Fuck society and it's morals.."

(But we are the same strength buddah)

Kris bit her lip and gave it a quick thought before she answered.

"In your dreams."

"Look, no more fights, no more sexual advances, no more being a bounce. Lets stop bickering amongst ourselves and start moving."

"I'm with Garret on this one actuallty, someone needs to repopulate" said Kip finding his joke to be quite funny

Kris kept her face even and ignored the last comment Kip made.

"I'm with Ed. Let's just stop fighting and get things ready to head out."

"Ooo Shot down again! Alright, your choice...But don't expect me to be Mr. Nice guy." Garett brushed past everyone and sat down on his bike and laid back...

Looks like ya fucked up again Garett....Damn it....What the hell is wrong with women....Is there something that they like about a guy...somethin special?...aghh...Damn it...whats the point in tryin, women never cared for me. Why should it start now. Garett let out a sigh and laid there.

Kurt watched as Garret walked away. He put back his machete.
"Can I have my gun back?"

"That was a burn Garret, rejected twice in 1 minute" he said laughing at Garret
