Guard Rail

"Back on the road fine, I have room for one more." said Kip twirling the keys to his car

Kurt got back in the car. He spoke to the new group of people.
"Oh, and my name is Kurt, by the way. Like you even care....."
He closed the door again as Kris took the wheel.

"Or not, no takers, hey you on top of the Jeep want a ride" Said Kip to Michael, it seemed to him he would get along best with him.

Kris reloaded her gun and shot more rounds at the oncoming zombies. Some of the survivors were either making there way into a vehicle, or they were still busy trying to defend themselves from zombies. She waited for everyone to get in and head out onto the raods again, and until Micheal decides to either get off her jeep and into one of its seats, or ride with the other person.

"Hurry, hurry, I can't stay here all day" said Kip starting his car.

Diesel jumped into Garett's side care and waited for him to take off. Garett pumped a couple shot gun rounds into multiple zombies before jumping onto his bike. He put away his shot gun and pulled out his .45. He began shooting more of the monsters...."We aint got all day sweet heart...Take the fuck off!"

Kris pursed her lips and decided to finally push on the gas and start off. The jeep skid before it got traction and shot forward. Everyone was in a vehicle and Kris led the way. A few fast moving zombies were already on there tails, and one tried to jump to Kris's left side. She aimed her gun at the zombie's head and fired it at its forehead.

Garett picked up his mic and began to speak into the radio. "Don't ya worry about any zombies, me and Diesel got the ones on the road....So where we headed babe?"

When Michael got in his car Kip floored it and followed the Jeep

(idk maybe in the jeep since he was on top and I just pulled away. Sorry)

Kris pursed her lips again and picked up the mic from her radio.

"One, my name is Kris, not babe. And two, we're heading northwest for about two more miles till we get to a heavily made safe house. I found it there a few days ago and it should hold everyone. Just follow me for now, and I'll give a few more instructions on how to get in once we get closer."

"Alright I see how it is, Formal and shit when everyones listening...It's cool I got ya "Kris"... Ya got supplies at that safe house?"

"I would hope so "Garret" why the hell would she lead us there without supplies" said Kip in an annoyed voice.

"Well punk, sometimes supplies run low...better safe than sorry...I'd rather not go to some safe house with out food, gas, or ammo."

Ed quickly pulled out behind the group in his Nissan Skyline.

"Kip show some respect you are gonna wish you had when you need someone to watch your back" said Ed kindly yet sternly

"Don't worry about it Ed, Im outta here as soon as we get out of Utah... So enjoy me while ya can bitches!"

"Dont' you guys worry. It's like whoever built that place expected it would be a permanent residence. You'll see everything once we get there...."

A zombie jumped onto the hood of the jeep and punched threw the glass. Kris dropped the mic and shot at the zombie, then it tumbled off the side. She picked up the mic again and looked at the coordinance.

"We'll be there quickly. There's a gate straight ahead and I want everyone to get through it. I'll be the last one to activate the security part of the gate. So be ready."

"Fine I'm sorry I guess, you just need to have more faith in our group members trust Kris she will lead us to safety......I hope" said Kip, he then turned to Michael.

"I am Kip who are you" he said with a half-hearted grin.

"Trust? Faith? In what? You're all a bunch of kids who got a hold of their parents guns and ran away with their cars...and who the hell ever said we were a team, or a group? Im here to get Michael outta Utah and then you'll never see my face again...Unless I'm blowing off your zombie head."

Kris sighed as the arguement continued, then she responded calmly.

"Ok ok you guys. Listen just get along at least until we are safe inside ok? Then your arguement can either be settled, or continued if you wish, till we're out of danger. Ok?"

"Typical biker mentality, you have no idea how i got my gun this wasn't my parents this is mine, just because my parents were rich doen't mean my life has been great, so before you pass judgement get your facts straight, go ahead and leave, and call us kids, but you will change your mind when this kid saves your sorry ass" said Kip angrily but turned back to Michael in hope for a response

"You save me? haha you wish kid? But Im gonna drop it before Kris gets her panties in a knot."

"Well Garret let's get some things straight: First off, I'm older than you, secondly, Kip has had a hard life, granted we all probably have a shitty past but nonetheless your scars are no worse than anyones. Now we gotta stop fighting amongst ourselves and get to that safe house." said Ed hurriedly.

Kris's teeth were grinding against each other. She sighed again and tried to calm down. Out the rear view mirror, she saw the others following and some of them fighting off the fast moving zombies. They were just in view of the large safe house ahead. She spoke into the mic.

"Ok everyone follow this road and get in through the gate. I'm staying behind to lock it up and put security on."

Once they were close enough, Kris looked over to Kurtis as she slowed down and lets the other pass.

"Take the jeep in. I'm locking up the gate. The panel is just by the doors so don't worry."

Kris got out of the jeep and ran toward the panel and watched the others get in
