Unexpected Reunion

"You have saved my life so many times, I owe you" he laughed and gave her a funny face and opened his arms for a hug. (Friendly)

Kris rolled her eyes, but gave Kip a friendly hug and tried not to hurt his ribs while doing so.

"That's practically my job Kip. Have to try to keep you guys alive too."

Kris went back to her seat and looked out of teh window as she shot the last clipshe had while the bomb continued to beep.

Kip grunted and sat down he smiled and reloaded his guns.

Kip lit a cigarette and sat next to Kurt.

"you been quiet for awhile,eh. Whats up?"

J looked at the bomb "awww man " he ran towards the bus limping... at least i think...it's over....

He took a sip of whiskey.

Kurt sighed and looked at Kip.
"I Don't wanna talk about it."

"Come on...you would think being in like 7 life or death situations together you would trust me by now...whats wrong" he said cleaning his gun and taking a drag of his cigarette.

the bomb explodes blowing the zombies up, there is finally silence it was broken by Micheal "wheres Garett!?" he ran out of the bus

"I do trust you,man. I just dont wanna talk about it. OK?"

Max had been trying to inch towards the bus, but stopped when he saw that Garett and Wilbert were still in the middle of it all.
"At least the zombies are preoccupied," he muttered, running towards them, hacking through zombies as he ran.
"HEY, GUYS!" he shouted to them from far away. They didn't seem to hear. Max ran closer. "GUYS! THERE'S A BOMB!" he tried to shout, but it was too late.
The bomb exploded a couple yards away, but it was still close enough that the shockwave disoriented Max a bit. He stumbled towards the bus, unable to hear because of the horrible ringing in his ears. He had only taken a few steps towards the bus, when something heavy dropped from the sky and slammed into his back.
Max's eye flicked open and closed a couple times, before eveyrthing just went black.

There was another small flicker of movement near Max as a small creature darted towards him and came to a stop at his side. The thing began to crawl around him, sniffing him.

"Alright man thats cool" Kip struggled to get up.

"It's fuckin hell here guys...we're screwed...I will be suprised if the bus even works"

kris saw the explosion from outside and saw one of the guys stumble too. Uh-oh. She grabbed her medical stuff and made her way out of the bus and by where Max was. She looked down and saw a little creature by his face. Kris turned Max's body around and noticed her had a few burns on him that might of came from the explosion.

"Max you've been burned, but they don't looked life-threatening. Have you gotten hurt anywhere else?"

While talking to him, Kris had already started pulling away some of the fabric that had stuck on the burns and started treating them.

Kip sat on the steps and watched Kris God we would be completly boned without her...a saint....yeah a saint. Kip nodded to himself, took a drag of his cigarette and walked away.

Ed walked over and picked Max up, so Kris wouldn't have to drag him and he wouldn't have to be dragged. Ed placed max in a seat on the bus so Kris could patch him up and look him over.

"Thanks Ed. Hey see if you can find Garett and Wilbert."

Once Max was on the seat, Kris started patching him up and treating the burns.

Kip kneeled down to Ankh.

"Hey buddy, you wanna go find Garret for me, eh" he said as he lit a new cigarette.

After about 15 more minutes, Kris finally managed to bandage up all of Max's burns. She left him on the seat to rest and she moved over a few rows to pack up most of her things again.

Max was able to open his eyes and looked around the bus. Some of the others looked a little bit fuzzy. Reaching up to his face, Max noticed that his glasses were gone.
"Must've lost them in the explosion," he muttered, laying down to rest.
As he closed his eyes again, something furry brushed past his hand which was dangling over the edge of the seat. Max opened his eyes and reached for his pistol, but couldn't find it.
"Damn. Probably dropped it in the explosion." He looked under his seat and, in the dim light under there, could make out the shape of something small and furry.
"What is that?" he asked himself. As he said that, the thing began to slowly move closer to his face. He quickly pulled his head up and looked over the seat, his hand ready to grab anything that came out. What came out was not really what he expected.
It was a long, slender creature covered in fur.
"Ferret," he sighed. "It was a ferret this entire time."
The rodent looked up and back at him, then turned around to stand on its hind legs to get a better look.

"Kris how long is this gonna hurt like this...or do you have some pain medication" Kip said lifting his shirt and looking at his midsection.

Ed walked outside the bus and began looking for Garret and Wilbert.

"Hang on a second."

Kris looked into a pocket of her bag and pulled out a small bottle of pills. The opened it and handed Kip two of them.

"Those two should last you through the day. Rib injuries take a while to heal, but if you rest a lot and try to keep movability to a minimal, and I mean going out and shooting zombies and all, then you should feel better in a few weeks."
