Unexpected Reunion

"I'm tired of hearing your voice..." He blasted his shotgun at him, knocking him out again..."Some one throw him out the bus...Put him under the tire...I wanna run him over when we leave."

Kris looked up at Garett and whispered too.

"You're not being a sissy. You're being smart because you know you're hurting. Come on and have a seat."

Kris went back to where her mediacl stuff was and gestured for Garett to sit on the seat across from her. She took out some bandages and medicine to treat the wounds that haven't completely healed yet and got to work.

"Now when I say rest up I mean rest up. If you want to be out fighting again, you need to listen."

She grinned at Garett after she said that and started working on his arm.

"I'm sorry about that Kris...But I saved that kid cause of it didn't I?"

Micheal grabbed the unconcious man and walked out of the bus, he walked back in a short minute later, he sat down in the driver seat and started up the bus, it coughed and sputtered into life, Micheal looked back to Garett "your wish..." he drove off, the bus lurched forward and a bump sent the left side bouncing, a sickening crunch split the air, he continued to drive "is my command" he smirked

Kris nodded. She stopped fixing his arm and went over the Jerry who was sitting behind Garett's seat. She checked his leg and gave him some of her food and water so he had something to eat. After a minute she went back to Garett and worked on his other arm. Then some sort of realization hits her.

"Hey how are you feeling? You're not showing any signs of turning into a zombie at all, so the cure worked?"

Kris's body lurched forward as the bus took off and she shuddered at the crunching sound.

"Yeah...Thanks again for that Kris..." leaned back in the seat..."Can I get some water..?"

"Wait, let me out, i need my jeep!"

"Go ahead...Don't let em bite your head off..."

Light ran out Griff at his heels. He saw the... thing, its arm twisted in a way it shouldnt be, and kept on running, he got in his jeep, slapped asi awake, and drove after the bus. "You guys wanna go to the bunker, kuz im the only one left on this earth that knows where it is."

Vincent woke up groggily & stared at the retreating bus. *I hate that thick-headed gorilla of a brute Garret* he thought to himself as he started to work himself out of the chains. After a few minutes, he finally broke free & went back to the sand dunes.

Kurt sat in a seat in the back of the bus, still beleiving he was dead and in hell.
"So when does the eternity of torment and suffering start, here?"

"Never Kurt, ya aint dead..." Garett yelled back to him, He got comfortable...Placing his head on Kris's lap..."Cmon, fix me up a lil more babe...You got them magic hands..."

Light was getting pissed that no one was responding to him, so he drove infront of the bus, and said over the radio "Follow me"

Garett held his hand held radio..."Yo light, chill out man...We just been through hell and back..For me...I've literally been to hell...It aint pretty...Cut the team some slack...We're gonna head to the bunker...We just aint so rushed yet..." Garett snuggled his head against Kris's lap...He turned off the radio and looked up at her..."So Kris...I gotta ask this...And be one hundred percent honest...I don't get why ya picked me...You're the only girll and had a chose between any of these bozos...and ya chose me...You're the smart type..Why didn't ya choose Mike, or Max...Or some one more emotional like Kurt...I kinda wanna know why me?...Not that i'm complainin about it...You got the beauty of an angel..and trust me I saw one...Right before god told me I needed to see hell before he let me go back...Then VWOOSh there I went..." Garett stopped for a moment realizing he was rambling..."Yeah, but like I was sayin...Why me?"

Micheal tossed the book to Jhon, he then lit a blunt and sat down next to Jerry "whats up kiddo?"

"Im not pissed about you guys, i just feel pissed all the time now, like im in a fricken pissy piss world, ya know?" Light said over the radio.

J walks up to garret seeing mike light the blunt...So what now the bunker?...whaats this you call the bunker anyways?"Kneeling down j whispered in garrets ear..."she chose you because you are the one who takes most of the damage in the group you will need more help than anyone...and we need you the same but shhh thats my opinion" J stood up and repeated.....[/i]the bunker?

Kris looked down at Garett and tried to think of how to answer his question.

"You know at first you were a real jerk and you could of left on your own at the beginning, but you stayed anyways. And you fight with us and not just for you anymore either. I know you try to act really tough and be the strong one of the group, but I seemed to have seen beyond that. You did a stupid thing to just leave us and you wouldn't listen either that other day before we thought you.... died. You saw one of us in trouble and despite all, you still managed to help and protect. And even before that, I could tell that there was more to you than just some tough guy. I don't know if anyone realizes much, but I can see some change in you like you're becoming.... softer by heart I guess. I know, I know you don't want to act like a sissy or anything and my answer might be different than what others see, but that's what I think. I think you're gradually changing and I think there's more to you than what you allow others to see.... Does that answer enough?"

Vincent made it to the sand dunes & found the old squad car he drove in. He opened the trunk & took out a bunch of suitcases. He opened them to reveal an SMG, grenades, a shotgun, smoke bombs & mines. He strapped the shot gun to his left leg, his hunting rifle to his right leg & the grenades, smoke bombs & mines in his pockets. He then took out a spare helmet & took off the one he has on now & replaced it with the spare. He took off his upper body armor & replaced it with a spare he had in the back seat. He got in the squad car & hurried to get ahead of them so he can place the mines in the bus's path. "The chase is on" he remarked as he started the engine & took off.

Jim sighed and lit a ciggarte.

Kurt Was confused now.
"Wait....but then...How are.... You and..... The Zombies...The Stairway? TO heaven...Ahhhhh......"
Kurt shut up and sat where he was to think.

"Thank's Kris...I needed some one to tell me that...At least some one sees some more to me..." Garett placed a hand on her cheek looking up at her...His eyes got close enough to J's to make eye contact, once doing so garett winked at him..

Kris smiled at Garett.

"Yeah your welcome."

He looked back up to Kris..."I gotta ask one more question...Can I have a kiss?" Garett chuckled at her, making a fish-like face.
