The City Of.......Light's

"KURT! GET THE KID INTO THE JEEP!" Light yelled over the roar of the 50 cal.

Asi quickly jumped into the jeep and fired one shot at the gorehounds, which missed.

Loud screams from the gorehounds rang through Kris's head. She winced at the pain she took a moment ago and tried to open her eyes. One of the gorehounds were starting to trail her and whoever was carrying her. Kris, with her gun stillin hand apparently, fired a about ten rounds into the gorehound's head and it went down a few feet from them. Kris winced again at the pain and placed her hand on where it hurts. The damage didn't feel that bad, but there was a little blood, not enough for her to bleed to death either. She looked around again and noticed Garett had her on her shoulder. She fidgeted a little to get down, but that wasn't any good.

"Uh Garett? Can I get down now?"

(( can we please stop hiding behind the jeep like scared pussies?<---(couldn't think of a better word) no the jeep doesn't have a gun, you'll have to use your own gun or else the 50 Calibur will count as one of your weapons and will have to take up 2 item slots because its so powerful, and you don't have enough slots open for it also the jeep isn't impenetrable, if zombies wanted to, eventually, they could tear the metal off, if your jeep was the impenetrable bastion of defense you say it is, and with pretty much everyone running and hiding in it it would make it so they can't hit us so it would technically be God-Modding ))

Micheal shot a couple rounds into the last dog's muzzle, silencing it's growl's, he turned and trotted up to Kris "what the hell are we gonna do? our Medic's the one messed up" he said

"Why are we hiding, Rick?"

Kris looked down to Micheal since she was still over Garett's shoulder apparently and rubbed the back of her head as she fired a few more rounds at a gorehound from a distance.

"I'll be fine.I have no tramma or trouble seeing. There's very little blood, but that has stopped on its own. And I have an immense headache from the hit.... now can I please get down?"

"So we don't die. And My name's not Rick, bitch."
Kurt pulled out his .44 just incase anything else happens.He heard Kris again. She was apparently OK, which was good.

((Ok, no 50 cal, 2 inch steel plating, and i was firing w/ my SIG, isnt there another gorhound?))

"Kurt, Take the keys"

"No can do sweetheart...You like to run off and get yourself hurt...Ima stop that." Garett aimed his .45 at the gore hounds who were running around destroying Jack's men, he shot every round in his clip into one of the beasts skull....The beast was weakened...but wasn't quite dead.

kris shot a few more rounds and grimanced. She looked down at him with and accused look.

"Well sorry for wanting to be a team player. Hmm.... I'm starting to think you're enjoying this a little too much now."

"Well can ya blame me...This is the closest I can get to ya with out you putting a gun to my head." Garett said with a chuckle as he reloaded his .45 and blasted more at the gore-hound..."Besides...I'd rather have you alive then a team player..." Garett said in a shy manner.

Kris considered the thought for a second and a few reasons came up why she needs to stay alive. One thing she's the only girl that they know of so far and yeah all the rest, and that Garett does care about her. The first one she was sure of, but she was still skeptic about the second still. Kris smirked then patted Garett's back just before a gorehound was ready to leap at them and she fired a few rounds into his skull.

"Well I guess that's true.... I just hate being on the bench. I'm like my father like that."

"Yeah I'm the same way...That's why I got all these scars...I guess sometimes the bench can be nice though..." Garett stepped onto the bus. "Just choose your resting spot." Garett said with a chuckle.

Kurt looked at Garret and rolled his eyes.
"Garret, Man..... The middle of a battle is not very good place to hit on Kris..... Jesus, man...."

Kris rolled her eyes but knew that Garett wouldn't be able to see that. She looked around the empty bus, but no one was on and Jerrywas in the jeep now, safe. She also looked outside at the mess of a fight.

"Uhh I thought we were abandoning the bus or something eeing how everyone is crowding around the jeep and the other vehicles by the road?"

"Kris...whos this we you keep talkin about?...I only care about you and Mike...and maybe Kurt...The rest...fuck em...." Garett placed her down on the back seat of the bus...."I don't know how this medical stuff works...so help me here..." He said as he pulled a first aid kit from underneath the seat.

Kris sighed, wishing that Garett had heard her before when she explained her condition to Mike.

"I'm fine. There's no tramma or dizziness. I still have my sight and everything else. Ther WAS a little blood, but not enough to be major damage, and it stopped bleeding. I just need some pain medication for the headache from the blow to the head.... and 'We' I mean our team out there fighting for their lives to protect themselves and eachother."

"Kris...their aint no team...This guys aren't here for you...or me..They are just here cause they are to scared to be on their own...So they want big bad ol Garett to take care of em..." After realizing what he just said....He tried to take it back, but only nervously managed to say..."Eh..sorry, cut the cockiness....But these guys...Well...I guess are just here for the ride." Garett pulled a set of pain pills and handed them to Kris.

Kris took the bottle without saying anything and swallowed down two of them dry without any trouble. She looked out where the others were fighting for their lives against the gorehounds. Things looked like they were clearing up a little, but there was still some fighting going on. She didn't know what to say now to that.

"I forgive you. And I guess you're right about that, but I don't know now. I think of use as a team since we don't have family anymore. You and Mike are lucky to have been friends and still be here to fight. Then you have Jerry who is really young yet and doesn't have a family nor a memory of anything now. And me, I lost my firneds and my mom.... I don't even now if the virus spread to Europe. If it didn't, then my dad is probably alive yet."

Jim threw a cocktail.

"..." Garett paused for a moment...He had nothing to say..."Family doesn't mean much to me...These people don't mean shit to me....Their lives could be lost right now...And I'd care less....But Kris.." Garett grabbed her hand and looked her in the eyes..."I'll follow you anywhere you go...to the end of the Earth...To Europe...I'll help you find your father...I'll protect you always..." Garett realized how corny he sounded, so he placed his head down in shame and hoped for a response that would make him happy.

Kris was a bit shocked by Garett's response to all that. She felt her cheeks warm and wished they didn't. Saying something like that apparently wasn't supose to be a part of his character and the when he held in head like that gave it away. She didn't know how to respond to what he said. She sighed and hesitated a second, but placed her free hand on Garett's cheek so she could see his gaze and so he wouldn't look down.

"I appreciate that, a lot. And they may not seem like team or family to you but that's just how I see it. If it doesn't for you, I won't argue. I'm sure the others might feel the same way, but that's just me."

"Flirt later,people!" Jim yelled at them keeping the zombie dogs at bay.
