Dawn of Trust

Kris had been keeping herself busy most of the time by reading her notes and going over them for some sort of cure that would last longer than the solution she had put into Garett. Her head started to hurt after reading through everything a few times today. After a few moments, she got out of the jeep. She missed the conversation on transpotration and Garett and Kurt had already sorted through supplies. However she wanted to stock up a little so she went inside to grab some water and some other snacks in case she was all caught up in her work, she would have something to eat. After that, she went back to her jeep to put the supplies away and to look around the area from where she stood.

Kurt walked out of the store, his backpack filled with all sorts of crap. He walked into Kip's car and set his bag down inside, and then he got inside as well.
"Yeah, lets roll out..."

"Alright Kris your with me, Just in case I need treatment or some shit...So I'll drive the jeep...Lets head out to get them damn trailers!"

Jim took his stuff and threw it on the back of his bike, then followed the others

"Ok fine."

Kris got into the jeep on the passenger side as Garett took the wheel.

Jim filled his motorcycle with gas.

Garett looked down at his hand, it was throbbing in pain..."ugh..damn it..." Garett started the jeep up and revved its engine. He looked over to Michael..."Leave this semi, we'll get the ones up at the station I saw!"

Jim rode out of there.

Kris looked down at Garett's hand and started to wander if the solution was even working.

"Your hand is starting to hurt now?"

"Guys, I'm I the only one who noticed, the creepy, stalker, rapist, traveling with us" kip worried.

"yeah...Only a little bit though...Don't worry about it, I'll be fine." Garett shook his head and then stared out onto the road. "It's not to far...maybe an hour tops away."

"I'm being serious about this Garett. If there's something wrong I really need you to tell me. Not just assume it's nothing or if I notice at all. And if you're in no condition to drive, you better let me take the wheel. That injection has only been in you for almost an hour and I need to know."

Kip noticed a glint in inside the station.

"Hold on guys, I will be right back" Kip walked in the station to see a six string guitar, in the back room for the cashier, he picked it up.

"Hey I used to have one of these, these could entertain us at night" he grabbed the Guitar and ran out of the building he threw the guitar in the back and started his car back up.

Kip wrote:

" Kip, Garrett isn't that bad!"
Added Kurt, sarcastically. He looked at Kip's guitar.
"Sweet, man. I had one just like that back home, but i broke it...."

(LOL at the Garett joke)

Garett looked to Kris, "You seem to care about me dyin way to much...Is this just cause Im some sort of experiment...Or do you actually care?"

"No it's not because you're an experiment, I actually do care. I have no idea if my parents or any other members of my family are actually alive. So you guys are the closest things to family that I have now.... I'm kinda like my dad in a way where I don't just sit on the sidelines and watch my comrads fall."

Kris shrugged at the thought and just stared out the window.

Garett placed his hand on her shoulder. "Look kid, I'll take care of ya til I die...Like you said, were all we got now..." Garett let a big grin come to his face...."So ya care about me huh?"

Kris shrugged again.

"Even though we got off on the wrong foot, I still care about you and everyone else."

Kurt voice came over the radio.
"Uhh.... Garrett? If your gonna hit on Kris, at least make sure you turn of the radio first. I can hear everything you say....."
His voice flickered out.

Garett slammed his hand into the off button of the radio. "Stupid eavesdroppers..." Garett looked back to the road. "Kinda weird for me...other than Michael, I've never really had any real friends who cared..."

Kris continued to looked out the window as they got closer toward their destination. When she heard what Kurt just said over the radion she pursed her lips to hold back a laugh, but instead she just rolled her eyes.

"I bet it was hard not having a really good friend around after so long, at least until you and Micheal reunited again the other day."

"Yeah...It's kinda lonely on your own...But sometimes its better that way..."

Kris thought on that, but her thoughts were interupted after hearing something bark. She turned her head only to see the three dogs had been in the back the whole time taking a nap.

"calm down guys, were almost there...." Garett looked over to Kris again..."Whats on your mind kid?"
